Welcome to Heidi’s Happy Dogs! My name is Heidi and I love dogs! My childhood consisted of running the trails of Mt Tamalpais, playing soccer, baseball and pick up games of tag with the neighborhood kids, all with my devoted family dog in tow. Daisy my poodle mix rescue from the Marin Humane Society was by my side from my ninth birthday through college. Annie my Golden Retriever, my first running partner, kindly shared our home with the babies as they joined the family. After college, I began raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Taking my dog training to the next level I completed Trish King’s Canine Behavior Academy levels 1 and 2 and interned with Trish King doing Canine Behavior Consultations. I currently share my home with my wife, two sons, three dogs, and a cat. My latest endeavor is that of the Founder and Executive Director of First Responder Therapy Dogs! We look forward to sharing the love of dogs with you!
